Fusion Firearms at GunCon 2025: Innovation, Community, and a First-Time Experience

GunCon 2025 marked Fusion Firearms’ first year at the event, and it turned out to be a milestone worth remembering. While Trevan—our usual YouTube lead—welcomed a new baby into the family, Bob Serva and Tyler represented Fusion at this year’s show in Cleveland, Ohio. What unfolded was a weekend filled with product showcases, customer feedback, and valuable connections in the firearms community.
Showcasing the New XP Comp
The spotlight of Fusion’s booth was the XP Comp, our compensated wide-body pistol that builds on the proven XP Pro platform. Having already made waves at the NRA Annual Meetings earlier in the year, GunCon was the second big stage for the Comp model.
Attendees got a close look at the pistol’s updated grip textures, threaded and ported barrel options, and other refinements that are shaping its final design. Feedback from shooters and influencers confirmed what we’ve seen in testing—the XP Comp is one of the most anticipated Fusion launches to date, with many asking about pre-orders on the spot.
A Grassroots Event with Big Impact
Unlike massive trade shows like NRA or SHOT, GunCon has more of a hometown, community-driven feel. Hosted in Cleveland’s historic Twist Drill building, the event mixed industry insiders, popular “gun tubers,” and everyday shooters in a way that encouraged conversations, not just sales.
For Fusion, this was invaluable. We met longtime customers who already own our XP Pro and XF Pro pistols, as well as newcomers discovering the brand for the first time. Hearing firsthand how much shooters enjoy their Fusion pistols—and how excited they are for what’s coming next—was a highlight of the show.
A Year of Growth for Fusion
GunCon 2025 came during what Bob described as a phenomenal year for Fusion Firearms. With demand for the XP and XF series growing, and the XP Comp nearing release, the Fusion team has been busier than ever. Behind the scenes, major investments are underway:
-
A new factory expansion with 12 additional CNC machines, bringing the total to 56 across Fusion and our Ermox partners.
-
Continued R&D on grip textures, accessories, and ported/threaded barrel options.
-
New OEM and government projects alongside our consumer product line.
As Bob put it: “It’s more than just a job—we can’t wait to get to work each day.”
Looking Ahead
GunCon wasn’t just about showing products—it was about building relationships. By talking directly with customers, creators, and fellow companies, Fusion Firearms is shaping the future of our pistols based on real-world feedback.
The excitement around the XP Comp, combined with ongoing development across the XP and XF series, signals a strong second half of 2025. And with more events, expansions, and product launches on the horizon, Fusion is just getting started.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by our booth at GunCon 2025—we’ll see you again next year!
