Freedom Series Build Kits
The Freedom Series build kits allow you to assemble Freedom Series Pistols, which are firearms models belonging to the spectacular Fusion Firearm’s production line of 1911 Pistols. Compared to glock pistols, the Freedom Series offers a unique blend of classic design and modern performance. Frame
A gun’s frame is the component or housing that contains the handle/grip and all lower internal parts such as the trigger group and fire control system. At Fusion Firearms, Frames are available in 3 basic configurations, an incomplete frame, a completely machined serialized frame, and a completely assembled serialized frame assembly generally called a complete “1911 Lower”.

Barrel
A bullet moves through the barrel after you pull the trigger. Therefore, you can't assemble a complete firearm without this component.

1911 80% Builder Kits Explained
The 1911 80% frame is a slang term used for an incomplete housing that cannot be used to make a firearm without further critical machining operations. Plainly stated it is gun frame blank that isn't functional yet. In most cases, these frames have several yet-to-be-machined operations, including drilling the sear pin and hammer pin holes and cutting the slide rails and barrel seat.
