Product Details

1911 Recoil Buffer package, Fusion Firearms, six pack of shock-Buffs for the 1911 pistol recoil system. These are used one at a time and are assembled between the recoil spring guide and the recoil spring. They are used to help reduce shock and fatigue in the pistol. Should be replaced Approximately every 1200-1500 rounds.

THESE RECOIL SPRING "BUFF-PADS" ARE FULLY EQUAL TO / EXCEED THE QUALITY OF PADS SOLD BY "EB, SWENSON, & EGW" PRODUCTS !!!!! A LITTLE FIRMER THAN THE "WC" BRAND WHO FIRST INVENTED THEM, AS A CURE TO PREVENT STRUCTURAL CRACKS IN THE FRAMES, AS THEY ELIMINATE THE "TONG" METALLIC SOUND MADE, WHEN THE SLIDE IS FULLY TO THE REAR DURING THE CYCLING STROKE. THEY ALSO PROVIDE A SLIGHTLY LESS RECOIL FORCE IN THE SHOOTING HAND. HOWEVER, I DO NOT ADVISE USING ANY BRAND OF BUFF-PAD IN THE COMMANDER & OFFICER SIZE FRAMES BECAUSE OF THE SHORTER SLIDE STROKES------OORAH & SEMPER-FI !!!!!!
