THIS CARBON-STEEL/STAINLESS PIN IS MADE FROM THE HIGHEST QUALITY MATERIALS & ITS LENGTH & DIAMETER IS OPTIMAL, FOR INSTALLING THE SWING LINK INSIDE THE LINK SLOT, ON THE BARREL. I STRONGLY ADVISE LUBRICATING THE PIN BEFORE INSTALLING & THEN GENTLY PRESS THE PIN INTO THE BARREL & THROUGH THE LINK HOLE USING A MACHINIST VICE INSTEAD OF A DRIVE PUNCH & BALL-PEEN HAMMER !!!!!! IT MAKES THE INSTALLATION VERY PRECISE & PREVENTS ANY HAMMER DING MARKS FROM APPEARING ON THE SIDE OF THE LINK SLOT IT WAS INSTALLED INTO--SEMPER-FI & OORAH !!!
