Thank GOD that I have a pudding pop habit...
First let me say that I bought mine off of Ebay due to this item being listed as "out-of-stock" on the website.
Now on to the review.
This thing is a literal work of the engineering art. I am truly impressed with the fit, finish and quality of this item. I do see why some people may not like it for EDC but then I'm not some people.
The cobra hood design of the paddles fit my hand like they were custom made for me and the high wall feature is both a unique look and brings a quality of shooter's safety to the table that I'm surprised as to why it's not made a bigger impact with 1911 owners.
About the pudding pops...actually it's the stick.
When I received the item the first thing I did was strip down my pistol to do a test fit and mark where I might need to do a bit of filing/sanding. To my surprise it fit like it was made for my pistol...but then I needed to take it out. That's where YouTube and how I learned to use a whittled popsicle stick as a twist bar to gain an amount of separation to achieve removal without having to pay a gunsmith $50.00 or mar my pistol's finish.
In a nutshell, the item is worth every penny and I am glad I bought it.
