Our journey started as a custom 1911 shop, and since then, we've grown into a leading manufacturer, offering custom features on production 1911s through our renowned Freedom Series.

Our Origins

Fusion Firearms was born out of a deep-seated passion for the iconic 1911 pistols and a dedication to the fine art of gunsmithing. Our journey began with our founder, Bob Serva, a leader in the firearms industry and the former president of Dan Wesson Firearms. Bob played an instrumental role in bringing the 1911 platform to Dan Wesson during his tenure there. in total, Bob has over 35  years of experience in the firearms arms industry and an in-depth understanding of the high-quality standards required to build the finest 1911 pistols.

We started as a small, custom 1911 shop, dedicated to crafting unique, high-performance firearms that were as beautiful as they were reliable. Our commitment to quality, detail, and performance quickly earned us recognition in the shooting community. The custom 1911 shop was not just a business; it was a testament to our love for gun-making, a craft we believe is a part of our American heritage.

Over the years, we have grown, but our core values remain the same. Today, our offerings have expanded to include our Freedom Series 1911s, which bring custom features to production 1911s, and our Liberty Series shotguns, which are focused on sport shooting.
