Check your fit before ordering. This sight is made for slides with a standard Novak-style front dovetail cut: .330" wide x 65°. Measure the front sight cut on your slide first. Some 1911 makers use a different size cut, and this sight will not fit those slides.
These are XS brand front sights for 1911 pistols and clones that have standard dovetail/ novak compatible front sight cuts(.330"x65°). These sights are CNC machined from durable stainless steel. This sight is a great match for our “U” notch style rear sights. Some fitting may be required.

Not a total loss...
The Ember 1911 front sight DOES NOT FIT 1911s from SIG Sauer. The front sight is waaaay too undersized and slides freely in the OEM sight cut. Your OTHER 1911 pinned front sight is a perfect fit, though. I wish I could post pics.

Response from Fusion Firearms
Thanks for the feedback, Jim. This sight is made for slides with a standard Novak-style front dovetail cut (.330" x 65°), which is listed in the specifications. Some 1911 makers use a different size cut, and it sounds like that is the case with your slide. We have added a clearer fit note to this listing so it is easier to check before ordering. We are glad the pinned front sight worked out, and our team is happy to help with a return or exchange on this one. Call us at 941-485-2579.
