AwesomeAfter much looking and researching, I finally found a reaction; they actually had two so I bought them both and gave one to my dad as a present. I’ve taken them to the range several times now and put a couple hundred rounds through them, (plain old green and white box Remington 230 ball). Zero malfunctions, flawless operation, and far more accurate than my aging eyes can shoot anymore. Fit and finish are excellent for assembly line pistols and equal higher priced units, far exceed imports in the same price range; there is no reason to buy foreign when you can buy fusion.

Riptides and A Freedom ReactionI purchased a Riptide about 2 months ago and it wasn't ejecting the shell casings so I sent it in to Fusion for repair as it was under warranty being a new firearm. It came back to me within a few days not only fixed but after shooting it at my local Range USA a few times it is one of the most treasured pistols in my collection so naturally I wanted to buy a Fusion 45 caliber so I purchased one today. I came home and bagged up my CZ 97 B, Sig Saur Legion P220, Rock Island Armory 45 and my just purchased Fusion 1911 Reaction 45 caliber. The Fusion Reaction IMO was the more accurate of this batch of pistols. The triggers on both the Fusion Riptide and the Fusion Reaction 1911 are the best I have ever had the pleasure of pulling. So if you are looking for a high quality firearm you will not go wrong with a Fusion Arms pistol.

Great gun, better customer serviceBought a 10mm to carry in Alaska. Dealer didn't include extra springs or owners manual. Contacted company, and it was sent out immediately to me. And I like this pistol better than my Colt Delta elite and Kimber camp guard. Definitely a fusion fan now.

My go to 1911This gun far exceeded my expectations. I have other 1911s that cost more and let them at home when I have range time. Very smooth,accurate,and never missed a beat. My wife hits the target every shot at 20 yards when she shoots it. I'm afraid she will take it over. Can't say enough good about this 1911.

Excellent Quality; 100% ReliableI am a 1911 fanatic; I own 12.I have owned my 1911 Reaction for three months now. it is in 10mm Auto. I have walked both Factory and Reloads through it and there have been no malfunctions. It is now ready to be my EDC pistol.

Impressive is the Word You are Looking For!I have a Reaction 9mm on order with an ETA of September. I happened to be in Brownells yesterday and what did I see? A new shipment of Fusion pistols! Let's just say that after fondling them in what the salesman might have thought inappropriate, I bought one in 45 ACP. Then, just so it would not be lonely, I bought a Riptide-C! After giving them a good inspection and lube, there is no buyer's remorse here! Yes, the word that came to mind was IMPRESSIVE!

Best 9MM 1911 I ever ownedOne of the hardest pistols for me to find has been an accurate 1911 chambered in 9MM. I have owned 8 different pistols made by 5 different manufacturers. Not one of them would I call accurate. So I tried one more brand just for kicks. It is a Fusion Arms Reaction 1911. This pistol actually blows me away every time I take it to the range. The fit and finish far exceed the $800 I paid for the gun. And as far as accuracy, I am truly amazed every time I pull the trigger. This 1911 delivers in every category a shooter could ask for. I would be buying a .45ACP today if not for the Covid 19 caused back up from all manufacturers. I love this pistol and if I could only keep 1 of the 14 that I own, it would be the Fusion Arms. Best $800 I ever spent.

outstanding valueSomeone smarter than me recommended this pistol to me. For 800$, this gun far exceeds my expectation. I can't speak highly enough of the quality I received for my money. If I buy another 1911, Fusion Firearms will be the first place I look. I've had it about a year, and a few thousand rounds through it. Accuracy is outstanding. I had one malfunction, needed a new firing pin and spring. They sent it away to me, no problems. I can't say it enough, the value for money is outstanding. Buy with confidence.

Ultimate in ValueI'm not certain how to phrase it any other way. When the Reaction met the palm of my hand I knew this was no ordinary production copy. The checkering on the front strap and mainspring housing are stout and artful. The finish and fit are comparable for the grade. The pistol is well balanced; the trigger is above average. Cocking serrations front and rear. Extended thumb safety, magizine release and extended slide release allow for total function without having to shift the weapon in hand. The Reaction shoots smoothly, accurately and reliably. This is a really outstanding piece and I knew it would be good because Bob builds some of the best 1911 pattern pistols on the market...period. A must have for the budget conscious who want a serious weapon created by a legacy.

Very NIce PistolMy original review "Not too shabby" has been upgraded to "Very Nice Pistol". I have just over 3500 rounds through my Reaction (.45 acp) and it is the favorite 1911 I've owned. Very well built and super reliable. I used it in USPSA Single Stack last season and it never let me down. The only mod I made to it was a Dawson Precision fiber front sight, and an extended mag release. VERY NICE PISTOL

Top shelf ReactionToday was my second outing with my Reaction. I ran several hundred rnds of 230 grain hard ball through this Cadillac !!! It never missed a beat. It ran and ran . Not one problem what so ever. It is accurate and very well built. I will be putting a order in soon for another fusion product. This gun is as good or better than my colt gold cup!! I’m totally pleased with the gun and folks at fusion . This is a great performer. I highly recommend anyone to put there money on this fine build 1911. Also the range bag is totally wonderful. It’s as smooth as glass. I appreciate the quality for the amount of money I spent. It’s a bargain.

Fusion ReactionThis 1911 is a performer! It’s everything that is advertised. I got my new Reaction a few days ago. I have run several boxes of 230 ball Ammo through the gun. No problems at all. I feel good about saying this is as good or equal to my Gold Cups. Fusion has been great and very personable to work with. I will be placing another order for the 1911 in 9 mm very Soon. Hiccup at firstReceived my 10mm Reaction series, took it out of the case and racked the slide back. Firing pin plate fell off then shot the firing pin and spring out. New to 1911’s so wasn’t expecting that to happen. Wrestled it back in and so far so good. Shot a couple boxes of Sig 180gr ammo thought it and no issues.

Not too shabbyI could have given this pistol 5 stars if the extractor had worked. On my first trip to the range; half way through the second box of ball ammo, it stopped extracting. I replaced it with a Wilson Combat 'Bulletproof' extractor and had no more problems. After I got home I adjusted the extractor, for a tighter fit, and then experienced the same issue on my next range trip. Otherwise this is a very nice pistol. Tight. Smooth. A pleasure to shoot.

Excellent 1911I was looking to buy another 1911 and was shown a Fusion pistol and didn't know anything about them, never heard of them before. The salesman put the pistol in my hands and told me to rack back the slide and feel how smooth it was and just how well it feels in your hand, just solid as a 1911 should be. For the price I paid, I think I made one of the best purchase of a firearm that has the feel of a quality made pistol and I'm glad the salesman showed it to me.

GreatAfter several months of looking for a 1911, I seen reviews about Fusion. Figured I would try and for the price if I didn't like it I would make it a project gun. Once receiving the firearm I was honestly shocked by the exceptional fit and finish. There are 1911's double this price that won't have the same quality. Definitely will be returning as a customer.

A Work of ArtI received my Reaction a couple days ago. Took it apart, cleaned / oiled it. All I can say is WOW, great job. Redefined my definition of a tight fit. The frame and slide seemingly operate on bearings. Can't wait to get it to the range and put rounds through it!
